Young Volcanics, Nubium IMP

Similar to Sosignes, this is another large collapse pit with young lava flows on the floor. The relatively paucity of impact craters and steep sides of the flows indicate very recent volcanism. Scientists are now rethinking the internal composition of the Moon – there must be a larger reservoir of radioactive elements generating heat deep in the Moon to keep the volcanic engine running!
