Color Palette

Color vision deficiency (CVD) affects a significant portion of the general population and existing tools for color palette selection are not appropriate for CVD end users. Recent efforts (i.e., Sarifuddin et al, 2005) have proposed a basis for a perceptually-uniform color space called HCL. The Color Palette Generation standalone tool utilizes the HCL color space to produce perceptually sound color spaces.
