Desc. Eastern of the Jackson 1 pit chain. Elliptical, with both east and west ends having a smooth slope to the floor (western end, at least, is in self-cast shadow at 45 degree incidence angle!). Center of the pit is a large block of fractured rock, rising to level with surrounding terrain.
