What are the Narrow Angle Cameras (NACs) on LRO?
Two Narrow Angle Cameras (NACs) on the LRO spacecraft will acquire images of the Moons North and South poles, potential landing sites for future human visitors, and many other scientifically interesting sites on the Moon. The NACs will also re-image the Apollo landing sites in order to study how the Moon has changed in the last 40 years. Scientists will be able to study the lunar surface in amazing detail (resolution of 50 centimeters).
