Kyle Burns, Research Technician

Kyle is a recent graduate from the school of Earth and Space Exploration with a minor in physics. He is currently working on Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) used with the Narrow Angle Camera aboard LROC. These models are used to create high resolution topographical maps and 3-D models of regions of interest, including areas suitable for future manned exploration. Kyle has previously worked on the NASA Student Airborne Research project to collect data aboard NASA's DC-8 flying laboratory. His research interests include physics, remote sensing and just about anything involving space or geology.

When Kyle is not working he enjoys traveling, working on fixing up his house, playing the guitar and listening to music.
