Frank Centinello, Science Operations Team

I was inspired by the space program when I was very young. I am from Buffalo, New York, where I attended the Dr. Charles R. Drew Science Magnet for grade school, and Hutchinson Central Technical High School. Afterward, I graduated from the University at Buffalo with an MS in aerospace engineering in 2007.

During the course of my graduate work, I've done research at the Technical University of Darmstadt, in Germany, NASA Glenn Research Center and the Air Force Research Laboratory. My current field of expertise is estimation applied to navigation, and I am looking to study the use of the techniques I've used to new fields. I have plans to begin working on my doctorate in earth sciences in fall of 2009. When I'm not being a nerd, you might find me trying to spout poetry, play a ukelele, or hiking (Arizona is beautiful, and I hope you can come see us at LROC sometime!).
